Dr. LaBentria Brooks Ford, affectionately known as Dr. Bee, did not grow up with the expectation of becoming a chiropractor yet the experiences throughout her life bought her to the crossroads of becoming a Chiropractic Physician. Dr. Bee was born in Independence, Louisiana and raised in Montpelier Louisiana. After graduating from Amite High School in 2003, Dr. Bee attended Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans Louisiana where she pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
After graduating from Xavier University in 2007, Dr. Bee enrolled at Tulane University School of Public Health where she obtained and Master of Science in Public Health in 2008. Upon graduation from Tulane University, she continued her education at Life University in Marietta, GA. While at Life, Dr. Bee participated in several clubs and technique classes. In 2012, she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University. She is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and state licensed in both Louisiana and Georgia.
Through chiropractic care, Dr. Bee treats a variety of patients including pregnant women, elderly, and children. She welcomes all patients because she believes that everyone can benefit from chiropractic care no matter their age. She is also committed to educating the community about spinal health and wellness and has been a speaker at many community outreach programs.
Furthermore, Dr. Bee is an ordained minister who enjoys spreading the “Gospel” to all. She also enjoys singing, traveling and spending time with her husband and son.
